You do not pay to sell. But if you want to reach more buyers and use selling features, there are packages you can buy by contacting business@afrobata.com

Listings may be reviewed to check category fit, safety signals, image quality, and policy compliance before or after publication.

Afrobata Stores

How do I create an Afrobata Store?

What is Afrobata Store Suite?

frobata Store Suite is the business workspace for approved Afrobata stores. It gives merchants the tools to run their shop online and manage day-to-day sales operations from one place.

It is designed for businesses that sell products regularly—such as supermarkets, provision shops, pharmacies, fashion stores, electronics shops, beauty stores, wholesalers, and other retail businesses.

With Afrobata Store Suite, you can do more than simply post products for buyers to see. You can manage your store in a way that feels closer to operating a modern supermarket or retail shop.

What can I do with Afrobata Store Suite?

Depending on your package, you may be able to:

Add and manage products, prices, photos, descriptions, and product variations.

Organize products into categories such as groceries, phones, fashion, appliances, beauty products, and more.

Track available stock and receive alerts when items are running low.

Record sales made through your Afrobata store and, where available, sales made at your physical shop.

Use a simple point-of-sale style workflow to sell products faster, similar to how supermarkets process customer purchases.

Manage customer orders, payments, deliveries, returns, and cancellations.

Create staff accounts and control what each staff member can access.

View sales reports, stock reports, best-selling products, customer activity, and store performance.

Manage promotions, discounts, featured products, and other tools that help you sell more.

Receive and manage customer enquiries from your online store.

Build a professional public storefront that customers can visit, browse, and buy from.

Is Afrobata Store Suite free?

Yes. Afrobata offers a free entry option so eligible businesses can create a store, list products, and begin selling online without needing to pay for expensive retail software at the start.

Free access may include limits on features such as the number of products, staff accounts, sales tools, reports, promotions, branches, or advanced inventory functions. Businesses that need more capacity or advanced tools can upgrade to a suitable package as they grow.

Is it only for online sales?

No. Afrobata Store Suite is built to support both online and physical-store operations.

For example, a supermarket can display products to customers online while also using the Store Suite to manage stock, record walk-in sales, monitor fast-moving items, and review business performance. This helps the business avoid treating online sales and shop sales as completely separate operations.

Who can use it?

Afrobata Store Suite is available to approved business accounts. After creating or claiming your business store, Afrobata may request information needed to verify the business and activate the appropriate merchant tools.

Afrobata Store Suite helps merchants start simply, sell professionally, and grow into a more organized retail business without needing separate systems for products, stock, sales, staff, and reporting.

Visibility Plans

What happens when my visibility plan expires?

When a visibility plan expires, paid benefits stop or return to the free package limits unless renewed or changed.

How do I cancel or change a package?

Open Visibility Plans in your dashboard or contact support for help with package changes. Available actions depend on your current package and billing state.

Payments and Skroda

What is Skroda Protection?

Skroda Protection is a supported escrow-style payment flow for eligible listings. Always check the listing and checkout details before paying.

Which listings are eligible for Skroda Protection?

Eligibility depends on listing category, seller setup, and available checkout options shown on the listing. Do not assume every listing is eligible.
